I enjoyed seeing through the multifaceted eyes of a spider! I don't think I have ever thought about how early Christians met in hiding. This is well-told, and I love the unique perspective!
I’m not fond of spiders either, but they are the cursed evil creatures, so I can still say something nice about them, lol. This one is more like early church tradition, not actually Biblical period, but it is still a similar style. Glad you enjoy them! They are fun to write.
Jumping spiders are the only spiders I think are cute. 😂 Yes, I shouldn't have said Biblical. The catacombs thing isn't mentioned in the Bible. Sorry : (
Or even the Black Widows and Brown Recluse in America. Even those can be deadly. And the BR don’t build webs; they hunt you down in the night while you’re sleeping. And don’t even try to fumigate. That just kills the harmless ones which leaves LOTS of free food for the Brown Recluse.

I loved this.
"It was here that the church, the Bride of Christ, met in secret, in a place the heathen were afraid to go."
I had never thought of them being afraid to go there. Maybe that is why they keep finding churches that were built underground.
Thank you!
The story I heard was that they were afraid to go where the dead were buried. So the underground burial caves provided a place to hide.
I love this, it's such a cool point of view to write from!
Thank you! I like to write from animal perspectives, but I think this is the fist time I’ve done a spider.
I love this! ❤️ Thank you for your beautiful writing!
Thank you for your kind words. Originally, I wrote this for a theme "hidden church" so I thought of the catacombs.
Awe. 🤗
I never thought I'd say that about a big spider. 😅
Love it, Lynae! 💛 These not-Biblical/Biblical (sorry I don't know how to classify them all 😅) stories from animal POVs are so cool.

I don’t think any of them are cute, but they do catch bugs. Some of them make pretty webs. The poisonous ones are just bad.
Oh yeah, like the poisonous ones in Australia that chase you. 😱 Nope, nope. 😖

This is turning into a trapdoor spider hole. 😂
Cool choice for POV!
Thanks!
Great story! 😃👏
Good afternoon ma❤️
This is beautiful. I love that the main character is a spider. And then the last paragraph... wow.
Thank you for this ma.
Our Saviour can indeed use the small ones.
