Thanks Lynae. It's good to be reminded of sin. Helps keep me "right-sized."

We took a second honeymoon and it was cut short. We got a call about my adult stepson being bitten by a recluse spider.

We were an hour from the hospital and the emergency was passed. So your analogy is relevant to me. The honeymoon was not a priority after all.

Your analogy is all over the OT as leprosy is a picture of how much God hates or has a distaste for sin. The serpents in the wilderness. Just as Jesus was lifted up on the pole to cure the sin pandemic.

A tiny infection can slowly and deliberately lead to death.

But God found a way when there was no way.

Thanks.

More spiders. 😨

Did you really get bit by a Recluse? I hope not.

Yes, it was a true story from when I was about 7 or 8 years old. That actually was’t the first time I had gotten bitten. Just the first time it went red-line.

Oh. 😞 Glad you're okej.

Yeah, I kind of didn’t tell the rest of the story, but it was kind of implied that I survived since I wrote it…

Exactly. 😶

Good theology! So what happened with the Brown Recluse bite? Did you get an antidote for the poison at the doctor's?

Prachtige beschrijving van het hardnekkige, geniepige probleem dat zonde heet!
